SUSU is run by students, for students. Seven full-time Sabbatical Officers are elected to lead SUSU each year. They work with over 500 elected voluntary Student Officers and a team of core and support staff to ensure we stay relevant, dynamic and effective.

Students make all the decisions at SUSU through the Annual General Meeting (AGM), meeting of Union Council and the standing committees for specific areas.

As a registered charity, SUSU also has a board of trustees that ensure we meet our charitable aims. A team of core and support staff are then responsible for delivering these plans and aspirations on a day-to-day basis.
