Help and Advice

Although The Advice Centre is closed over Christmas you can still access our online advice and support resources for academic, housing and finance issues.

Academic Support

If you need help and advice around academic issues, exam tips, academic integrity or special considerations, there is lots of support available via our online guides and resources.

Mental Health Support

If you need support with your mental health over the break, the following organisations will be available for support: TogetherallStudent Space and Samaritans. The University’s Wellbeing Team can be contacted via 02380 599599.

Help in a Crisis

If you need urgent help, please use the following sources of support:

Police: in an emergency call 999, or for non-emergency situations call 101 or report online.

Medical help: in an emergency call 999, or for medical help that is not an emergency call 111.

In other emergency situations you will also be able to contact University SecuritySamaritans, or the organisations listed on our wellbeing page.
