Becoming a Student Leader at SUSU is a fantastic opportunity for any student. Working alongside the other Student Leaders, other voluntary officers and the Sabbatical team, you will lead a particular cohort or activity within the Students' Union. You could be in charge of managing a budget or be responsible for a team of people.
Sabbaticals are paid officers who work for SUSU for a year. For this by-election the 2 available sabbatical roles are part-time, but still paid!
Union Councillors are elected to reflect the different student bodies that make up the membership of SUSU. Any current student at the University of Southampton can sit on Union Council and represent the overall student body on the issues brought to Council.
Becoming a Union Councillor is a really simple yet rewarding way to get involved with your Students' Union and there are 17 positions currently available.
Whatever position you choose to stand for, you must be a registered student and member of SUSU when you stand.
If you have any questions regarding thisand are still interested in standing in Your Elections, please contact the Returning Officer to discuss your personal situation.
