Mind Society

Mind Society exists to gather students from University of Southampton who are passionate about campaigning on behalf of Mind, the mental health charity. All proceeds of our fundraising will go directly to Solent Mind, the branch of Mind which is based in Hampshire. Furthermore, the group will volunteer with Mind's national campaigns, such as the Virgin London Marathon. All fundraisers will exist with the intention of raising as much money as possible, and drawing attention to mental health problems.

MindSoc is a society who aim to raise awareness of mental health problems both around our University campus and beyond, and act as a support group for those who may be struggling. The society hosts weekly tea and talk sessions, where we play games to give us a break from the stresses of University, get to know others who are passionate about mental health awareness, and have the opportunity to talk about how things have been going for you. We host a variety of fundraising events throughout the year (although currently limited due to COVID19), and all the proceeds from our fundraising efforts and campaigns go towards the local charity Solent Mind, the branch of Mind which exists in Hampshire.
