Everyone is welcome, regardless of their degree or previous experience, all you need is a passion for wildlife. Our regular events include weekly documentary screenings, mushroom walks, pub and sober socials, as well as big trips to museums, aquariums, and wildlife parks. Hi there!

We run nature-themed events and trips in the Southampton area and all over the UK! All students are welcome, regardless of their degree or previous experience, all you need is a passion for wildlife. Our regular events include weekly documentary screenings, mushroom walks, pub and sober socials, as well as big trips to museums, aquariums, and wildlife parks. We primarily use Instagram to advertise, as well as the Society App.

We host a wide range of events, such as:

  • Reptile Handling (with a term time handling course!)
  • Bird watching
  • Mushroom walks
  • University Mammal Challenge
  • Trips to places like Marwell Zoo, New Forest Wildlife Park, Bournemouth Oceanarium, and Crocodiles of the World
  • Trips to museums like the London and Oxford Natural History Museums
  • Bug pinning
  • Fossil hunting
  • Terrarium-making and plant swaps
