The Riding Club provides all types of riding at every level. We arrange a number of activities, ranging from socials and holidays to BUCS competitions and horseball. We aim to offer riding to everyone regardless of whether you have ridden on national teams or have never sat on a horse before.

Indoor Individual Sports

Archery is a sport open to everyone. If you are already an archer just send us an email at archclub@soton.ac.ukWe run a beginners' course for the first 6 weeks of the academic year and most of our current members learned to shoot while at University. If you have not completed a beginners' course please contact us for information on our next course which will begin in October. We offer the opportunity for both new and experienced archers to regularly compete; last year our results included multiple BUCS medals for our novices and seniors including an indoor gold medal for one of our novice gents and an outdoor bronze medal for one of our experienced ladies.
