Philharmonic Choir

Creative Industries

SuPhil is a non auditioning choir, and is the student section of the Southampton City Philharmonic Choir. We aim to make music live in Southampton¬Ě . We sing classical choral pieces, and have 2-3 concerts a year. Our professional conductor takes weekly rehearsals with a professional accompanist, and the choir is over 180 strong, with the student section being approximately 30+. The mix of the two choirs gives us a unique blend of youthful voices with those of more experienced singers, as well as offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform musical works on a massive scale in an ensemble of over 180 voices. .
