Peer Support is a confidential listening service by students, for students.
Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity, with a student campaign group in Southampton.

The following are options for support from professional services, at the Students' Union, the university and nationwide
Based in Building 40, Highfield Campus, The Advice Centre offers free, confidential and independent help with academic issues, private rented accommodation problems, financial advice and most other practical problems!

Personal Academic Tutors
Your tutor should be able to help support you with most issues. You can also talk to a Senior Tutor if you prefer.

Enabling Services encompasses a wide variety of support for students who have disabilities, mental health issues or specific learning difficulties. It includes a crisis team – First Support – and access to counselling and CBT.
There is a drop-in held in Building 37 (Student Services) Monday – Friday, 1.00-3.00, during term-time. You can also phone them on 02380 597726 or email email@example.com.
The Samaritans is a national organisation.
You can call 08457 90 90 90 or email in confidence 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and know that they will listen and not judge.
