SUSU works with the University to help facilitate a Student Representation system, which plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of education on offer at the University of Southampton is maintained and continually improved.
There are 4 levels of representation: the VP Academic Affairs, Faculty Leaders, Academic Presidents and Course Reps.
Each of these levels plays an important part in helping to improve the overall experience that you receive during your studies.
Faculty Leaders are the essential bridge between the VP Academic Affairs and all of the Academic Presidents and Course Reps. Find out more about the role of a Faculty Leader.
Academic Presidents facilitate the means by which your voice is heard by co-ordinating the Course Reps and passing on key information from the Academic Unit. Find out more about Academic Presidents.
Course Reps are vital for getting the student voice heard by the University. If there’s a problem with feedback, lecture quality or tutor support, Course Reps are the people who will represent you and your opinions, and make sure the University listens. Find out more about what a Course Rep does.
