4. Officer and Student Led Reports

Catie and Ellie ran through their written reports that they had submitted.

Jenny gave a verbal report;

  • Jailbreak was successful with nearly £8000 raised with the furthest team reaching Cyprus. Everyone had a great time taking part and the Jailbreak awards also went really well. A criticism was that teams fundraised to cover their travel costs, groups could do this as long as it was clear they money would be used for this purpose. However it was felt that the total amount raised for charity would have been a lot higher if all of the money donated was treated as a charity donation instead. There will be a debrief and a file of information will be created for use in future years.
  • The RAG Christmas Fair is today. It was very popular for groups signing up for stalls and the puppies from woofability are attending.
  • Working on the committee getting more training.
  • The Big Give will be organised by the committee/sub-committee due to issues with committee member.
  • Movember and Children In Need went well
  • Christmas Ball was cancelled due to low ticket sales.
