1. Welcome and introduction

Trini welcomed everyone to the meeting. Jade Head, Frazer Delves and Anjit Aulakh were also in attendance.

2. University of Southampton Students' Association (Adoption)

Anjit proposed the USSA to be a Union Group and had been passed at Democracy Zone. This was approved.

3. Resource Allocation Procedure

It was explained that the procedure was a reflection of practice and contained no big changes. It was also explained that the document was designed to be a living document, with changes happening over time. This was approved.

4. Constitution changes

Constitution changes from Debating Society, Shroinji Kenpo, FilmSoc and Southampton University Water Polo Club were approved.

5. Affiliations
  • Portakabin Fever

It was decided that this group did not meet the criteria outlined in Rule 11, section 2. This group was NOT AFFILIATED.

  • Genetics and Rare Diseases Society

This group did not attend the affiliation meeting and therefore were NOT AFFILIATED. This was the second meeting they had not attended and so their application was rejected.

  • Southampton Forex Trading Society

It was decided that this group met the criteria outlined in Rule 11, section 2. This group was AFFILIATED and assigned to External Engagement Zone.

  • North American Society

It was decided that this group met the criteria outlined in Rule 11, section 2. This group was AFFILIATED and assigned to Student Communities Zone.

  • Tai Chi for Health

It was decided that this group met the criteria outlined in Rule 11, section 2. This group was AFFILIATED and assigned to Student Life Zone.

  • Southampton Kazakh Society

It was decided that this group met the criteria outlined in Rule 11, section 2. This group was AFFILIATED and assigned to Student Communities Zone.

  • The Canadian Society

This group decided to withdraw their application in order to merge with the North American Society.

  • Wrestling Club

This group did not attend the affiliation meeting and therefore were NOT AFFILIATED. This was the second meeting they had not attended and so their application was rejected.

  • Paediatric Society

It was decided that this group met the criteria outlined in Rule 11, section 2. This group was AFFILIATED and assigned to External Engagement Zone.

  • Omani Students Society Southampton

It was decided that this group met the criteria outlined in Rule 11, section 2. This group was AFFILIATED and assigned to Student Communities Zone.

  • University of Southampton Cooking Society

It was decided that this group met the criteria outlined in Rule 11, section 2. This group was AFFILIATED and assigned to Student Life Zone

  • Languages Society

This group did not attend the affiliation meeting and therefore were NOT AFFILIATED.

  • Tea Society

It was decided that this group met the criteria outlined in Rule 11, section 2. This group was AFFILIATED and assigned to Creative Industries Zone.
