It’s important for you to feel supported while you study at Winchester, so our Winchester Student Committee is here to represent your views and make the changes that matter to you.
We run a number of popular events at WSA, including our regular Quiz in the WSA Café, where you get to choose the culinary theme. Take a look at our events calendar to see what’s coming soon.
Remember that all of our Southampton-based services are open to you too, so check out how you can get involved.
These are just some of our recent Winchester Wins:
The WSA Campus President aims to make positive changes to your day-to-day life at University. They are responsible for making your voice heard at both Winchester and Southampton campuses.
Our Social Events Officer oversees all the exciting events and activities held at WSA, from Quiz nights to Summer Balls. They work closely with you to find out what you’d like to see happen on campus. Get in touch if you have an idea for a new social activity, or to pass on feedback for something you attended.
The WSA Welfare Officer is responsible for your wellbeing, ranging from mental health through to housing issues and everything in between.
Along with the rest of the Erasmus Park Committee, the Erasmus Park President works to improve facilities, support you with any issues you may face and make sure that students living in Erasmus Park are having a great time by running a huge range of activities and events.
The Academic Officer represents WSA students’ academic and education issues and rights. They are the point of contact for our Vice-President Education regarding all academic matters at WSA, and are also the link between Course Reps and the Faculty Officer.
The International Officer encourages integration and inclusion across all cohorts and ensures that all our international members are represented.
