There are so many ways to get involved in RAG, it all depends on how many karma points you’re after. We cater for a wide range of students, from those who want to appease their conscience one a one off basis to those who really want to get some hard-core charity work under their belt. Whatever you want to do, the first step is always to join our mailing list, so that way you’re kept up to date with all things RAGgy and can pick and choose what you fancy getting involved in.
If a particular event does tickle your pickle (and let’s face it, who doesn’t enjoy a good pickle tickling) then come along and lend yourself for a couple of hours all in the name of charity, be it waving a bucket at passers-by or posing in the buff for a naked calendar. The breadth of opportunity is pretty vast and if you’ve got your own ideas on a particular event you want to organise, RAG are here to help you do that as well, just send an email to rag@susu.org or chat to one of the committee members about it.
For those who want to get heavily involved the opportunity doesn’t end there. Why not run for a position of the RAG committee and help to organise RAG. Elections are held every year and a new committee is elected, normally around March time. So if you really fancy building up some experience in charity work here is your chance, it’s also really good fun and a great way to meet shiny new people.
