SUSU’s Advice and Representation department was created to act as the students’ watchdog, constantly identifying barriers that may impact adversely on the student experience, and campaigning for positive change, whilst continuing to deliver an excellent advice service.

Come and join the Advice & Representation team in the exciting new role of A&R Coordinator (Sustainability). You will be working in particular with the Sustainability Zone which includes a wide range of areas, from the Environment to Ethics and Equality. You will also play an important part in developing our work on student employability. The main purpose of the role is:

  1. To co-ordinate and assist in the effective operation of Advice and Representation
  2. To encourage, support and advise the relevant student officers
  3. To assist the officers to maintain and develop a diverse, exciting and relevant range of opportunities to further enhance the student experience

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills who understands the issues facing students and is passionate about improving their University experience here at Southampton as well as having an interest in sustainability.
