Advice and Representation Co-ordinator (Education)

 

SUSU’s Advice and Representation department was created to act as the students’ watchdog, constantly identifying barriers that may impact adversely on the student experience, and campaigning for positive change, whilst continuing to deliver an excellent advice service.

Come and join the Advice & Representation team in the exciting role of A&R Co-ordinator (Education). You will be working in particular with the Education Zone, the purpose of which is to understand issues, develop policy and campaigns and share best practice relating to the student academic experience. The main purpose of the role is:

To co-ordinate and assist in the effective operation of Advice and Representation

  1. To encourage, support and advise the relevant student officers
  2. To assist the officers to maintain and develop a diverse, exciting and relevant range of opportunities to further enhance the student experience

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills who understands the issues facing students and is passionate about improving their University experience here at Southampton as well as having an interest in the academic experience. If you are organised, proactive, with excellent research and campaign skills, we want to hear from you.
