We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident assistant to work alongside the Entertainments Manager, to help deliver the annual programme of events.

You will be passionate about events, and have some knowledge or experience of liaising with clientele in a customer focused role.

You will be involved in updating the events social media and websites, as well as assisting the Entertainments Manager with booking acts, attractions, riders, plus any other event requirements required in order to set in place all arrangements for events.

You will also be a point of contact for event bookings within the SUSU venues, which will entail liaising with internal SUSU departments such as Technical, Bars, Catering and Facilities in order to help facilitate the completion of a successful event for each client.

The role is primarily office based but will require some flexibility, as assistance in the day to day running of evening events may also be required.

This is a new role within SUSU, so we are keen to employ an experienced individual who is confident and self-motivated. You will be able to work independently but also take direction from the Entertainments Manager in order to suit the demands of the department.
