SUSU’s Advice and Representation department was created to act as the students’ watchdog, constantly identifying barriers that may impact adversely on the student experience, and campaigning for positive change, whilst continuing to deliver an excellent advice service.

Come and join the Advice & Representation team in the exciting role of A&R Co-ordinator (Student Life). You will be working in particular with the Student Life Zone which includes a wide range of areas, from housing to sexual health. You will also play an important part in developing our work on student employment. The main purpose of the role is:

  1. To co-ordinate and assist in the effective operation of the Advice and Representation department
  2. To encourage, support and advise the student officers with the work of the Student Life zone, including the committees
  3. To assist the elected officers to maintain and develop a diverse, exciting and relevant range of opportunities to further enhance the student experience

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills who understands the issues facing students and is passionate about improving their University experience here at Southampton. If you are organised, proactive, with excellent research and campaign skills, we want to hear from you.
