The following position is only open to current University of Southampton students.
As a member of Marketing Support staff, you will have the opportunity to take part in the delivery Union events, provide a welcoming and informative service to customers, and create a safe working environment for them. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: working in a team to set up, support during, and pack down after events during SUSU events and activities, ensuring that all customers get the best experience possible when visiting SUSU by adapting to their needs and using your initiative, and complying to health and safety and confidentiality requirements.
You will also be required to take live coverage of events by taking photos, live videos etc., so you will need some experience in doing so, and you will need to be able to work well in a team and have exceptional customer service skills. Having relevant experience in marketing and promoting brands online and offline and strong IT skills would also be beneficial for this role.
