This is a key role, working in a varied commercial environment including licensed bars, entertainments, catering, retail shop, facilities management, health & safety and a new lettings agency. Initially you will take responsibility for two or three of these departments but in time will gain experience working over all the diverse areas. You will report directly to the Head of Commercial Development and the role will be focussed around three key areas:
- To line manage section members within Commercial Development.
- To improve and develop current operations.
- Development of projects within the commercial areas.
Your strengths will be in motivating others to deliver high quality work in a busy, fast-moving environment, having sound commercial experience and skills and taking an innovative approach to developing service. We are looking for someone with significant related commercial management experience who will be committed to improving and developing the commercial areas and to leading their teams to deliver ambitious targets and excellent customer service through sharing best practice.
