On the 25th May 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulation will come into force. Given that student societies hold and process personal data in the form of membership and signup data (potentialy in other ways as well) as well as passing that data onto SUSU for processing (via the groups hub) It looks like all societies will be covered by these regulations.

Given this nan SUSU advise societies as to what we need to do to be compliant? Also what processing permissions we will need to ask our members for in order to cover us transsfering that data into the groups hub?

Hi Tyler,

Given that we're a few months away from getting clarity on GDPR, I'm going to close this, but as soon as we have guidance for Clubs and Societies, I will post a blog detailing more.
