Join us at the boat hard for a paddle and play on the river. We’ll have a FREE BBQ too. You don’t need any experience, just come and have some fun. Meet us at the university water sports centre, (easiest way to get there from campus is to take a U1A to Wessex lane halls and then walk about 5 minutes down to the end of Oliver Road) - see our website for a more in depth guide if you are lost http://canoe.susu.org/
Bring some swimwear, a towel, and some shoes you don't mind getting wet. Come anytime, sessions run all day (10am-5pm).
The Organisers
Although we are called 'Southampton University Canoe Club' we are in fact a group of whitewater kayakers! A growing and nationally successful club, SUCC accommodates anyone from people who have never kayaked before (which is how most people join us), to expert paddlers! We run weekly sessions on the river and in the pool, with trips every fortnight and at least one awesome social a week.
