Snooker and Pool

The snooker club has fantastic facilities based right here in SUSU, with direct access to four snooker tables, with one being used solely by team members. The team consistently competes at the highest level in national University tournaments, with recent success in both snooker, 8-ball and 9-ball pool. The club is very active with members of all abilities and is happy to embrace new members. We will be actively posting across social media, to keep up-to-date follow us on Facebook (Southampton University Snooker & Pool Club) and Instagram (_suspc). So why not come along, improve your game, meet some new people, and enjoy the incredible facilities we have right here on campus? Interested in playing competitively? We run team trials (first or second week after Freshers' week), talk to us at Bunfight to find out more. Snooker trials will consist of practice and in-game set-ups aimed at assessing the existing ability of a player (potting, safety play, current ability, stance), and Pool trials will consist of participants competing in frames against each other. Whilst wins will carry some merit, everyone will be considered based on the way they play, and whether they employ strong tactical knowledge and potential to improve.
