Water Polo
Southampton University has a Men's team and a Ladies' team entering BUCS and playing a variety of friendlies, offering a full fixture list and opportunity for players of all abilities to compete and learn. Out of the pool we also offer a great socials, encompassing everyone's enjoyments. Our sessions are: WEDNESDAY: 7-8pm (Women) 8-9pm (Men) THURSDAY: 8-9PM (Swim lane) SUNDAY: 7-8pm(Men) 8-9pm(Women)
The Southampton University Water Polo Club is a well-established university club and has been since its formation in 1936. No experience to join is necessary as we welcome players of all abilities. It is the opportunity to try a new sport, improve fitness or improve existing skills if you are a seasoned player. The Men’s and Ladies’ teams enter into British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and Hampshire Leagues. Outside the pool, socials vary from bar crawls to more formal (but still great fun) events where we celebrate our successes!
We train at the Jubilee Sports Centre at these times:
- WEDNESDAY: 7-8pm Women's , 8-9pm Men's
- THURSDAY: 8-9pm (1 swim lane)
- SUNDAY: 7-8pm Men's, 8-9pm Women's
There is also additional 1st team training (those who are eligible will be invited) at these times and locations with Southampton City Water Polo Club:
- MONDAY: 8-10pm- Women's - Winchester
- TUESDAY: 8-9:15pm - Men's - Southampton Quays
- THURSDAY: 8:30-10:05 - Men's- Winchester

Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by Water Polo, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
