 The following position is only available to current University of Southampton students.

We are now recruiting current students to undertake the role of Bars Assistant (Service Assistant), to start in the Autumn term 2019.

As a Bars Assistant, your duties will include, but are not limited to: providing a fantastic experience for all SUSU customers in the SUSU bars, including the Stags and the Bridge, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring appropriate health and safety and food hygiene standards are complied with and upheld at all times, complying with legal procedures such as Challenge 25, and maintaining bar areas to a high standard of cleanliness. You will also have a positive and welcoming manner, process cash or card payments using the tills, and complete general daily tasks such as clearing tables and cleaning and tidying the area you work in.

No previous experience necessary. Full training will be provided, however you must be comfortable with selling alcohol to customers and holding a personal licence.
