£33,797 to £36,914, with potential progression to £45,361 (pro-rata if part-time)

Flexible opportunity - Part time or full time - 28 to 35 hours per week

If so, the University of Southampton Students’ Union (SUSU) have an excited new opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join the team!

 

The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to lead the effective marketing of the Students’ Union to communicate with our members. The role is based at the Students’ Union on the Highfield Campus, University of Southampton.

Working alongside our elected student officers and Union staff, you will lead the Marketing and Communications team and ensure that we engage effectively with our members to deliver services and activities to enhance and enrich their lives. You will manage a team of four, working closely with other teams in the Union to create marketing strategies and plans and develop content across a range of channels.

 

About You

With a passion for bringing a brand to life through storytelling, you are driven to understand audiences and know how to ask the right questions to stimulate content that helps, informs and inspires. You are a proven team leader, experienced at coaching and managing others to deliver effective campaigns. Strong planning, project management and organisational skills are essential to ensure a number of content projects and campaigns are delivered to deadlines. Your committed and passionate approach will inspire and motivate team members. You will empower them to work creatively, to exceed the Unions goals and provide a fantastic experience and customer service to the students of the University of Southampton.
