£27,511 to £30,046, with potential progression to £35,845 (pro-rata for part-time)

Full time or part time - 24 to 35 hours per week

Hours based on a 35 hour full time equivalent

 

Are you an experienced data / research professional who is looking to take on an exciting new challenge within a not for profit organisation? If so, the University of Southampton Students’ Union (SUSU) have an exciting new opportunity for an Insight Manager to join the team!

 

The Role

The Insight Manager will have a key role in further developing and implementing an insight programme to enable the organisation to understand our membership, so we can make decisions which enhance our ability to deliver our mission. You’ll support the organisation’s development through leading the provision of membership insight, operational usage, attitude, performance and benchmark data. You’ll work in partnership with leaders and other stakeholders to provide meaningful and actionable recommendations. You will advise, support and coach people in the delivery of research, evaluation and impact measurement within their areas of work.

You will use your research skills to gather and interpret information to help shape our priorities and strategies. This is an exciting opportunity within an important and growing area of work.

 

About You

We are looking for someone who is strategic, organised and passionate about supporting students. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of market research and data analysis, with the ability to translate data and trends into meaningful information to enable decision making.

You will have a track record of planning and delivering projects, with the ability to manage multiple areas of work concurrently. You'll have the ability to view situations systematically, working in partnership with people to identify the root cause of issues and providing meaningful advice to address them.
