Salaries based on SUSU's Pay Band B with a full-time equivalent salary of £17,682 to £18,709 subject to experience, with potential progression to £20,675 through performance.

30 hour contract (expected 6 hours a day, 5 days per week). Must be available evenings and weekends.

16 hour contract (expected 8 hours a day, 2 days per week). Must be available evenings and weekends. 

Start date: as soon as possible after 11th January 2021.

The Role

As a Retail Supervisor at SUSU, you'll be part of a fast-paced team working together to deliver our retail offer. You'll provide a fantastic customer experience by planning, supporting, and delivering retail operations, ensuring effective stock control, cash-handling, and service supervision. You'll lead a team of staff, both core and student support, and develop, support, and motivate them to also provide excellent customer service. You'll also work to ensure we are compliant, and our procedures are delivered to high standards.

About You

You should hold relevant and demonstrable retail experience including that of stock control, replenishment, and merchandising, and have excellent customer service skills. You should have a Basic Hygiene (Level 2) certificate and have, or be prepared to obtain, a Food Hygiene (Level 3) certificate. It's also essential that you have cashier experience and have knowledge of cash handling procedures, with a good level of numeracy and computer-literacy skills.
