Internally known as Head of Digital and Technology 

Salary based on SUSU's Pay Band E with a full-time equivalent salary of £33,797 to £45,361 subject to experience.

35 hours per week.

The Role

This is a new role for SUSU, combining traditional IT operations with new ways of working, using technological and digital skills to enhance our offer for both staff and students. You will be passionate about how digital & technology can improve systems & processes, educating and supporting colleagues in using new ways of working and using technology to connect with students, and looking to embrace and integrate the latest digital trends within SUSU.

You will work closely with the University of Southampton iSolutions department in ensuring SUSU IT resources are supported, maintained, and delivered to our 75+ staff. You will oversee a team of web developers to continually improve our in-house online systems, lead on our digital strategy, and improve the digital literacy of our staff team.

About You

You should be experienced at managing IT support for both on-premises and remote workers & systems, confident with virtualisation technology, desktop & server support, and a thorough understanding of agile and programming development. You will need excellent project management and planning skills to deliver our ambitious programme of digital excellence.
