35 hours per week, salary based on SUSU's pay scales, band E, £27,511 to £30,046

 

Are you an experienced insight specialist who is looking to take on an exciting new challenge within a not for profit organisation? If so, the University of Southampton Students’ Union (SUSU) have an exciting new opportunity for an Insight Manager to join the team!

 

The Role

The Insight Manager will lead the delivery of insight and research projects across the entire organisation to better understand our members and support the work of all other services across SUSU. They will support, advise, and coach staff across the organisation in developing and delivering quality research, and they will work to embed a culture of insight across all levels of the organisation to drive informed and evidence/data-based decision-making.

You will use your research skills to gather and interpret information to help shape our priorities and strategies. This is an exciting opportunity within an important and growing area of work.

 

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of designing, delivering, analysing and presenting market research, and have experience analysing and presenting data and complex information to inform decision-making. They will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other data-analysis software and survey design tools, and will have the ability to build productive relationships and influence stakeholder decisions based on data. Experience of the above in the Higher Education or the voluntary sector and knowledge of current issues affecting students and Higher Education institutions is desirable.
