Wouldn't it be great, particularly during exam season, when lots of us are living in the library trying to study if there was somewhere we could take a nap or just in between lectures. Benefits of taking a nap to improve performance have been shown. Admittedly I'm not sure where this could be placed (maybe a dozen units) but having a safe space to get your head down for an hour (or two!) would be great. No extra travel to go home and nap, no going home to take a nap and then can't be bothered to go back to uni, no disturbing others with snoring, no taking up space from others and no worry of someone interfering with you or your belongings.
Just a thought!

Hi there,
Thank you for your You Make Change. Whilst I understand where you are coming from, this would be encouraging students to stay in the library instead of going home. Instead of relaxing at home or doing something you love, this would be encouraging a bad work/life balance which the university does not encourage. Likewise, the library is a shared space and could distract others who are working or even take away valuable space for students who are going to the library for the purpose of studying - the point of the library.
Further to this, there would be an issue of maintaining the areas and money to put into buying blankets and maintaining them.
Kind regards,
