make students be able to remove themselves from a club or society mailing list

Complete
While I appreciate Ella's response and honesty, my problem hasn't been fixed. I can't expect it to 'not be forgotten about', when no progress was made. It should be something that is automatically available and not something that students should have to continuously ask for - students change their mind and sometimes no longer what to affiliate with a club or society. Also, emailing the society doesn't always work as I have been told they don't know how to remove someone and/or have just ignored the request. If the problem isn't sorted, closing it because it takes up room makes no sense?

Hi!
I'm taking over from Ella so I'm unsure of where this submission got. You can directly ask the society presidents or anyone on committee to remove you from the mailing list via groups hub. Unfortunately our online system is currently being changed over to a new system so adding additional aspect will currently not be achievable. If you would like to email me directly at vpactivities@soton.ac.uk and i can contact the committee myself if you are having trouble contacting them. Hopefully we can get this resolved for you!
