For equipment for individual societies, you can apply for equipment through grant funding, which you may recieve if you have a strong application including evidence of safe storage for the item and that you have attempted to find the best possible equipment for the money you revieve. However grants are, of course, heavily oversubscribed. As a society you can also get money for equipment such as this through membership fees, society fundraising or sponsorship. Certain equipment is also avialable to rent from the Union or other societies who already own such equipment.
