Turn the Christmas lights off during daylight hours.

C'mon guys...the union claims to be all about sustainability and the environment, yet you are willing to leave the Christmas lights on all of the time? There have been many a day where I have walked around campus to see that the Christmas lights were on at midday.

Not only is the senseless wasting of electricity horrible, but it's also a giant waste of money. Perhaps it would be more sensible to put the lights on a timer that turns on at sunset and turns off at sunrise?

Hi Victoria,

Thanks for your feedback! We don't run the campus Christmas lights, but I will let the University know for next year, as I agree that there must be a more sustainable way to run them!

Thanks,

Flora, Union President
