Union to Stand Against Government Scrapping A-Level Dance and Drama

Complete

I propose that the Union should stand against plans to scrap A-Level Dance and Drama from the national spec. These subjects, though not taught here, are important for shaping and moulding students and allowing all students to flourish in the subjects they are talented in. Many Southampton students would also have studied these subjects and enjoy engaging in Performance Societies.

Hi, thanks for bringing this to my attention – I completely agree we should stand against those plans! I’ll try and publicise the petition on facebook and make the Performing Arts societies aware of it.
