Encourage the university to improve the ventilation of 07/3009

Hi,

07/3009, one of the medium sized lecture theatres is not fit for purpose. 

It’s suffers from chronic over heating and stuffiness. After about 15mins @ 75% occupancy. 

Please refer to CIBSE TM52 or the Priority Schools Building Programme specification for definitions of thermal comfort and appropriate CO2 levels. 

A starting point for effecting change would be for an appropriate member of estates to email consultancy@breathingbuildings.com to see what could be done.

Hello again! 

I've now had the chance to meet with the team who look after timetabling and Common Learning Spaces, and they are really interested in collecting as much evidence as possible about the space. They've said that Planon (https://planon.soton.ac.uk/selfservice/maintenance_request_nonresidential.php) is the best way to do this, so I'd encourage you to file a ticket on there and see what they say!
