Laura Grange teaches & researches in Ocean & Earth Science and is threatened with termination after July.
Laura is on a fixed term contract which the university has elected not to renew. This has given little consideration to the quality of teaching within marine biology, supervision of students at all levels, her current contributions to the running of university, & Laura herself.
Laura is a valuable presence since her work began in 2013, following research positions globally, and an undergraduate and PhD based in NOC. She contributes to numerous modules, and supervises students as a tutor and mentor.
Can university renew her contract?

As this is being handled by the FNES Faculty Officer at the moment I'm going to close this You Make Change for now. However should the situation change I'm happy to re-open it if needed.
