The Advice Centre at SUSU offers students a wide range of housing support, including knowing your rights on deposits with landlords and lettings agents. Our team have been made aware of issues with the lettings agency Posh Pads, and noticed an increase in concerns and complaints this year.
Many students contacted The Advice Centre with details of their negative experiences of renting with Posh Pads. With students’ permission our team shared these experiences with the Citizens Advice Bureau, and the case has now been raised with Trading Standards. The Advice Centre have also contacted the Property Redress Scheme, which is Posh Pads’ redress provider.
