Each year, a team of students is elected to lead your Students’ Union, setting the agenda for the Students’ Union over the next academic year.

Sabbatical Officers

Sabbatical Officers are paid, full-time positions whose role is to lead different areas of work, and hold political responsibility for different aspects of SUSU throughout the academic year.

Student Trustees

The Trustee roles are voluntary, unpaid positions. Working together with non-student External Trustees and Sabbatical Officers. Trustee Board is responsible for oversight of the high-level management and administration of SUSU. They focus on the strategic direction of the Students’ Union, ensuring that the Union creates and implements strategies that meet its objectives.

Student Councillors

Student Councillors are responsible for overseeing the policy and political direction of SUSU, and approving and monitoring the work of our Sabbatical Officer team.
