The Bridge
Found just inside the entrance of Building 42, Highfield Campus, The Bridge is your student café bar. It’s the perfect place to catch up with friends, get some uni work done or just to treat yourself to a coffee and a bite to eat.
Open from 09:30 until 18:00 on weekdays, the Bridge serves a great variety of hot food over lunch (11:30 – 14:30) and hot drinks & snacks all day long.
Book The Bridge for your event
The Bridge is available for bookings in the evenings and weekends, Tuesday to Sunday. It’s the perfect space for socials, quizzes, karaoke nights, parties and more! We offer a fully licensed bar with cocktails available, and food packages are available on request. Plus, there’s no booking fee for students!

Our Coffee
We know you care about where your coffee comes from which is why we use Café Direct Familia espresso beans. The beans are certified Fairtrade and Soil Association organic and Café Direct is B Corp certified.
Our hot and iced drinks are handmade by our team of student baristas and served with a Lotus Biscoff for dunking.
SUSU Safe
We want to ensure every student feels safe on campus and in our venues, and that campus is a safe environment for everyone. We've put a number of safety initiatives in place, including drinks testing kits, Stop Topps and Ask For Angela.
Quiz and Chips
You can join us every Monday evening during term time for Quiz & Chips which has one of Southampton’s biggest quiz jackpots. Entry is only £1 per team member and the winning team wins the whole lot. That’s over £1400 this academic year already! Watch out for special edition quizzes once a month. Expect Disney, Christmas, Video Games and Sport among others.
