Applications are closed, and the candidates for the Leadership Elections 2026 have recently been announced.
We are entering an exciting phase of the Leadership Elections as we meet the candidates who are campaigning to be the new Sabbs of 26/27.
Don’t forget that voting will open on 10 – 12 March!
A great game for a great cause
We are hugely proud of our clubs for taking part in the Henry Nowak Football Charity Match. Our community came together to celebrate Henry’s life, his friendships and the impact he had on everyone around him!
SUSU helped to plan and run the Henry Nowak Memorial Football match at AFC Totton.
A big shoutout to everyone who helped raise over £3,000, with overall fundraising totalling £48.6k.
LGBTQ+ History Month
For LGBTQ+ History Month, our Union President Emma launched FREE pride badges – over 200 badges were snapped up in just a few days and students are wearing them with pride!

Happy Chinese and Lunar New Year
The Chinese Students and Scholars Association welcomed over 400 students to a vibrant Chinese New Year celebration, full of energy and stunning performances. Bringing our uni family together, events like this make campus more inclusive, diverse, and connected.

SUVC smashed it this month! They ran their first ever Sitting Volleyball session.
SUSU Advice Centre
In February, our Advice Centre supported 316+ students with academic, housing and finance issues. We saw a record-breaking turnout at one drop-in session.
