Why vote for Indigo?

Hi everybody!

I'm Indigo / Indy, and I've been one of your course reps over the last year! As a team we pushed for improvements to assessment marking, reacted quickly to fix your coursework marks when things went wrong, and fixed the WiFi in Building 46!

I've been heavily involved with students throughout the year, frequently collecting feedback on lectures, assessments, and other issues, and raising them directly to senior ECS staff so they could be fixed ASAP. For this I received the Best Rep of the Month award and nominations for Best Contribution, Best Consultation, and Best Academic Impact.

If I am elected ECS President, I will continue to represent you, the students. I will ensure fast communication directly to senior ECS staff and lecturers to solve issues quickly, and create lasting and substantial change to certain systems that simply aren't working.

I will push for greater transparency across ECS, including things such as clearer markschemes, publishing the module survey results, increasing student consultations, and creating easier routes for students to voice their complaints.
