Why vote for Omolola?

As a committed law student, Welfare Officer for the Black Law Students’ Society, Campus Ambassador for ZipLaw, and so much more. I’ve consistently championed inclusivity, wellbeing, and opportunity. Now, I’m ready to take that commitment further.

I’ve seen how much we need more transparency, stronger support, and a sense of real community. Whether it's academic stress, feeling unheard, or not knowing where to turn, I want to help change that.

If elected, I'll:

  • Enhance academic support by advocating for more scheduled revision sessions led by volunteer professors, ensuring further follow-up sessions and feedback for students. Continuing revision sessions are held in preparation for summative exams.

  • Amplify your voice by holding regular open forums and working closely with the Law School to implement your feedback on teaching, assessments, and support services.

  • Bring in more opportunities by partnering with firms and platforms to host workshops, panels, and networking events tailored to our cohort.

  • Build student-led socials, mentoring programmes, and support systems that make it easier to connect, grow, and not feel alone in this journey. Collaborating with graduate law students from this year to connect with students who are in a similar position to where we are now.

I want to ensure your concerns lead to action. With my experience, creativity, and dedication, I’ll work to make our Law School not only a place of academic excellence but a community we’re proud to be part of.
