Why vote for Isabelle?
Following my time as First Year Course Representative, I have gained diverse insight on the various aspects of the Law School, and the consistent targets that we aim to reach as a collective. I have witnessed first hand the immense impact of the Law School President, and hope to utilise all I have learned to target common goals and focus on the value of the student voice to initiate change and bring about wider opportunity. I have had the chance to understand the concerns of students throughout the entire Law School, with varying degree structures and circumstances, and with this knowledge, I will continue to engage with all students, and focus on not only academic goals, but professional and social goals too.
Having won an award for my involvement in promoting the Legal Clinic, I have acknowledged various avenues for greater collaboration between societies, the clinics, and the law school to organise vast opportunities and give more students the chance to enhance their employability whilst developing vital characteristics and learning new skills. I want to build a community that promotes engagement, values students’ suggestions and strives to deliver opportunities which allow students to develop long term goals.
