Why vote for Godwin?

I'm running to be your next Aeronautics and Astronautics Department President because I care deeply about our course and the people in it. As your First-Year Course Rep, I’ve worked hard to listen, communicate, and bring your concerns forward — and I want to keep doing that on a bigger scale.

With hands-on experience in both the Spaceflight Liquid Rocket Engine and Mars Rover projects, as well as being a dedicated member of Formula Student, I’ve developed a strong understanding of our department’s opportunities and challenges. My leadership background — from being a Senior Prefect and founding the Astro Pi Society in sixth form to being a vital member in the USDC challenge — means I know how to organise, represent, and get things done.

If elected, I’ll focus on strengthening communication between students and staff, pushing for more transparency around opportunities, and ensuring every student — whether you're exploring side projects or just trying to push through deadlines — feels heard and supported. I’m approachable, I care, and I’m always up for a chat.

Let’s build a stronger, more connected department together. I’d be honoured to have your vote
