Anya Lu - Mechanical Engineering Department President

Hi! I'm Anya, and I will be a third-year student next year. I have two years of experience as a course rep and have worked closely with this year's department president to improve second-year modules. 

My goal is to ensure an open and welcoming environment for all students and to represent everyone's voices.

As a course representative, I have formed good relations with many members of the faculty. If elected as your department president, I will maintain strong communication and a positive relationship between you, the student body and the faculty.

Furthermore, in the last two years, I have developed robust systems that effectively communicate your feedback to module leads, part leads and department leads and ensure diverse representation. If elected as your department president, I aim to improve the course representative experience and support new course representatives.
