Why vote for yomi?

Hello everyone,

I’m running to be your VP Communities with a clear promise:
Connect • Include • Support

My goal is to build a warm and inclusive campus where every student feels at home, and where both societies and individual students can get the support they need.

If elected, I will:

1. Connect

Launch a cross-community buddy programme to bring international and local students together, helping everyone settle in, make friends and feel supported.

2. Include

Create low-pressure social events such as movie nights, study groups and casual gatherings, so everyone can connect comfortably.

3. Support

Fight for more funding, simpler funding applications and better resources for all societies. I will also support individual students to use campus facilities and equipment, and to run small personal events, with practical help on venues, equipment and processes.

I will listen to you, represent you, and work for all students.
