Why vote for Chun-Min?
As a Master’s Marketing student and a former professional football and futsal player for over a decade, I live and breathe sports. I understand that for many of us, sport isn't just a hobby, it’s our community, our mental health, and our identity. However, I also know the pressure of balancing a rigorous academic schedule with the costs of staying active.
If elected as your VP of Sports, I will focus on three core pillars:
-
Accessibility & Affordability: No student should be priced out of their passion. I will apply my marketing and management background to help clubs develop strategies that lower membership fees without sacrificing engagement or quality.
-
Diversity in Sport: Whether you are an elite athlete or a complete beginner looking for a new hobby, I will advocate for a wider range of sports options that reflect our diverse student body. If your "familiar sport" isn't here, I will work to help you find a home for it.
-
Campus-Wide Wellness Events: I plan to launch high-visibility sporting events designed to trigger a "sport-trying" mindset. By bringing clubs together for large-scale showcases, we can increase cross-club collaboration and make healthy living the easiest choice for every student.
Let’s make Team Southampton more inclusive, affordable, and energetic than ever before!!!!
