Why vote for Mysticson?

Every student deserves to feel seen, supported and able to thrive - not just academically, but socially and personally too. Our university is incredibly diverse, and this diversity should be reflected in the opportunities, support and decisions that shape our university lives.

I will work to amplify the voices of students from underrepresented backgrounds, ensuring students are meaningfully included in conversations. Inclusion is not an afterthought. It should be considered in everything we do.

International students are a vital part of our student community, yet many face unique challenges - from adapting to a new environment to navigating potential language barriers. This means ensuring international have clear support systems, better communication and stronger representation so everyone feels confident to be themselves, be connected and heard by helping every student feel like they belong in our diverse community while creating more opportunities to bring our different cultures together, encouraging shared experiences.

Leadership for me means listening first. I am approachable, transparent and committed to represent students honestly. Inclusion isn't a one-off campaign but continuous work that requires commitment, consistency and action to deliver real change!

The first thing I would focus on in the role is creating more opportunities for students to share their opinions and experiences. Students should always come first, and to represent them effectively I need to understand what they actually need and care about.
My motto is Listen. Lead. Deliver. and listening is the most important first step. By actively engaging with students across our diverse university community, I can ensure that the changes I work towards are meaningful, effective, and truly benefit students.

Hi, Thanks for the question! I can assure you no AI was used in writing up my manifesto. My ideas come from my own experiences and conversations with students. If you would like to know more, feel free to see my live radio interview on Surge or my Instagram account.
Regarding the other question, I believe AI is a useful ‘tool’ when used responsibly and ethically but it’s the users responsibility to ensure they think critically and develop their own ideas.
