Why vote for Llewellyn?
Hi all,
Some of you might already be aware of me through my role as course rep, but for those who don't I have the misfortune of saying that I'm a mechanical engineering student in year two. Over the course of my work this last year, my main motivation has been trying to decrease the amount of pain this course causes by as much as possible. Some ways in which I (with help and support from other people) did this was through:
1) Making a shared database with deadlines and exam information
2) Campaigning to reduce content in certain modules such as SESM2017 (Thermodynamics)
3) Opening discussion on how group projects are managed and how the university manages group participation
4) Complaining to the part lead and timetabling about how many people they sometimes try and fit into one lecture room (it's not acceptable for lectures to be screened to a seperate room over teams, we are paying at least £9,790 per year for this education)
5) Highlighting unfair or poorly structured exam questions
If the action I've already taken sounds positive to you, please consider voting for me so I can keep up this work, and hopefully make this course less of a nightmare to navigate for everyone.
If you have any questions about my campaign or any suggestions please feel free to email me, or I can be found through the part two mechanical engineering WhatsApp group.
All the best,
Llew
