Why vote for Daniel?

As the current course representative for all Year 1 LLB law students, I am pleased to submit my nomination for Law School President for the 2026/27 academic year.

Since taking on my role as course representative, I have developed a strong set of skills in communication, leadership, and student advocacy. My position has allowed me to give a voice to students who have felt pressured, confused, or in need of guidance, and my primary goal is to carry these skills forward into my second year as Law School President. Throughout the 2025/26 academic year, I have been proud to contribute to countless initiatives, including relaying feedback between faculty and students, participating in law school events such as moots and panel discussions, and (most importantly), helping to drive meaningful changes to the timetable and modules as issues arose.

I believe that an effective President must be approachable, proactive, and genuinely committed to improving the student experience. Having already built strong relationships with both staff and students, I am ready to hit the ground running from day one. I understand the challenges that law students face, from the pressures of coursework to navigating a demanding workload, and I am passionate about ensuring every student feels supported and heard throughout their studies, as I have accomplished thus far.

With your vote, I would be honoured to continue serving as a leader for our course as we take on the next exciting chapter of our legal studies together.
